We highly recommend a visit to the McWane Center. Our company sponsored a trip to this experimental metropolis. The iMax theater was spectacular! The bed of nails was a terrific experience and all the activities were mind boggling.

Took the four-day course Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) at Athena here in Birmingham. We did cover VBA for all of the Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint). If you are a VBA person, I want to talk with you. Migrating WordPerfect macros to Word will be our first step. Recreating fairly sophisticated templates and merge documents will be our next challenge as we support 400+ users during this leap from WordPerfect to Word.

Training in Chicago for Applescript development was well worth the time and money. Tecsoft out of New York taught this course at the Apple Market Center. Instructor Jerry Nielsen taught for Apple Computer, Inc., for a number of years. He definitely knows his subject well. Anyone in the Applescript world that wants to converse, drop me a line. I'm sure we'll have a lot to talk about... the pains of Applescripting the Finder and certain scriptable and non-scriptable applications.
